Jesus was teaching in a synagogue on the Sabbath and there was a woman who
had a disabling spirit. He laid his hands on her, and immediately she was
made straight. The synagogue leader was indignant. Then the Lord said, “You
hypocrites! Do you not untie your donkey on the Sabbath for water? And
ought not this woman be loosed on the Sabbath?”
