One Sabbath, he dined at the house of a Pharisee. There was a man who had
dropsy. Jesus asked the Pharisees, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”
They remained silent. He healed him and sent him away, then asked, “Which
of you, having a son or an ox that has fallen into a well on a Sabbath,
will not pull him out?”
